The plug in works fine but I really don’t wan to resize all my photos to a certain size. Is it possible for them to show in the proportions they have. smaller or larger to fit the sidebar?
And I tried to donate but got an error message I couldn’t read. Italian?
Hi Sharon,
If you set ‘Resize images’ to ‘no’, the images will appear in their original height and width.
Yes, I’ve heard that before, that people get directed to the italian paypal site. I’ll have to look into that. Meanwhile, if you want to donate, please do so to the email address that is shown on top of the italian paypal page, it starts with ‘guido_to…’
EDIT: I think I resolved the donate page language problem. Please let me know if you still see it in italian.
Thanks, great tiny plugin!!
Thank you

Hi there,
Wonderful widget! I’d be happy to make a donation for it, though, I was wondering if you could help me with a small problem. I’d like the text to be underneath the photo, as it might be more extensive — is this possible? I’m pretty adept at code, I just wanted to check with you first.
Thanks so much for your help!
Jonathan
Ahahaha nevermind. You’ve already thought of that feature, because you’re apparently brilliant. I just didn’t see the option at first.
My apologies! Flawless widget!
Ack! Sorry for spamming — I just realized the offset function doesnt quite do what I thought it did. Is there any way to adjust the total height of the plugin/allow spillover, so I could add adjust the vertical offset so the text was BELOW the image, but wasn’t cut off because of the image height?
Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for using my plugin, and thanks for the compliment
First of all: next time please post support questions in the forums.
And now the solution to your problem: if all the slides have the same dimensions (let’s say 200×100), then all you have to do is define the slideshow a bit higher (200×120 for example), set ‘autoresize images’ to ‘no’, and you’ll have 20 pixels of space for the caption “under” the image
Hi again,
Thanks for your response! Sorry for posting it in the wrong place.
The version I downloaded doesn’t include “autoresize images” as an option — did I download an older version? Is there a link where I could grab a newer version?
I’m using Version 1.2.1.
You posted your question on this page (wordpress widget) so I assume you’re using the wordpress widget
You can install the latest version using the built-in WP plugin installer, getting it directly from the WordPress plugin library. Or you can download it from this site (see Downloads in the top menu), and install it through upload in the WP plugin installer. The latest version is 1.3.4
I made it through the donate process without a hitch but now the slideshow won’t rotate. I’m using the Thesis media box. Everything is fine except rotate.
Hi Sharon,
Next time, please ask support questions in the support forum.
About your problem, I checked out the website you linked to, but I didn’t see any slideshow there? I’d need to see the page with the slideshow, and the widget settings to try and understand what the problem is.
And did you donate right now? Thank you very much, but the last couple of months no donation has arrived?
I dont see how I can insert this plugin into a page, and how do I customize it, i dont see the instructions anywhere can someone help?thank you
It’s a widget. You can add it like any other widget.
Here is the documentation.
