Color codes
All color codes that can be set in the widget, must be set in the form
0xXXXXXX
where XXXXXX is the 6 digit hexadecimal color code.
For example, 0×000000 is black, and 0xFFFFFF is white.
On the internet, a search for example for ‘hex color codes’ will give many sites where you can find these codes.
An exhaustive chart can be found here
Using the WordPress widget in a post
There is no plugin version of the slide show, so it can only be used in the widget areas defined in your template. It can’t be used in posts. Or can it?
Yes, it can! Read all about it.
Making the slide show multi-lingual
Can the slide show be made multi-lingual?

I’ve tried everything to get the right path into the WP Slideshow Widget. And for some reason I cannot even get one picture to show either. Can you assist?
I’m using Version 1.3.2
WordPress Version 2.9.2
When I could not get any pictures to show with them in the wp-content/uploads/2010/04 directory. I created a directory in the WP Slideshow Widget directory and copied some pictures there. Here is an example of the full name I have used: ‘http://atlantawoodturnersguild.org/wp/wp-content/plugins/creative-clans-slide-show/Slideshow/GS0310a1-150×150.jpg’
I tried with and without the www, and also with and without the ‘ before and after.
Is there anything specific I need to do to the template for this to work? If so, be very specific:-)
Any help is appreciated!
Dave
Hi Dave,
I took a look at your site, but I didn’t find the slide show, so I can’t tell you what you’re doing wrong. What I can tell you is that you must not use single quotes (‘) in the path or images settings.
If you want further help, please activate the slide show again and let me know, so I can take a look.
And please, next time ask support questions in the support forum.
I am using this Plugin on my webblog http://www.tamblang.co.cc,
i also use FCG plugin, is that okay? i mean they will not crash each other, will they?
if i’m using the image setting instead of the path setting, what should i fill there? the url image? and what to use to seperate multiple image?
thanks a lot for the plug in
Hi there, next time please ask support questions in the support forum.
I don’t know FCG plugin, so I have no idea if they will crash each other. You’ll have to try.
I see you set the path setting, so now all you have to do is put the image names in the ‘images’ setting. One image per line.
Thank you !!!!! That’s great!
Hi, first thanks for share your work, I enjoy it, that it do just what I was looking for.
I install it and it shown the images, and link too, the trouble is that at the second image it stop to work and dont shown the follow image.

Hi fum,
First of all, next time please use the support forums for support questions.
Second, I took a look at your site, and I think at least one of the images you specified in the slideshow (natee14.jpg) doesn’t exist in the folder you specified.
Hello, sorry for ask in the wrong place, I hope dont bother you with this answer, only I want to grateful, and I tell you that the problem was on the name of the image as you said, (natee14.jpg) that was written wrong
Thank you again!
