Development of versions 1.3 of the slide show, the Wordpress widget and the Joomla module has started.

The list of new features includes:

- A new border type: the image border. It will be possible to use a transparent image (gif or png) to create neat borders.

- The possibility to indicate a different target window for each slide. If no target has been specified for the slide, the default target setting will be used.

- The possibility to load the slides through a proxy, thus enabling cross domain image loading (this will resolve the problem lots of people had with flash considering 'www.mydomain.com' and 'mydomain.com' to be different domains).

- The possibility to show a watermark image on top of the slides (a transparent gif or png). The watermark can be stretched to cover the whole slideshow area, or be placed wherever you want using horizontal and vertical offset.

- Wordpress widget: the possibility to give a title to each slide show.

- The possibility to load all images present in a folder.

- Wordpress widget and Joomla module: no more saving of xml files, the settings will be loaded dynamically at run-time (this should resolve the permission problems lots of people experienced).

- The behaviour of the default link setting changes: it will no longer overrule the single slide link setting, but be used only when no link has been set for the single slide.

- The possibility to choose between autoresizing the images to fill the entire slide show area, or to keep the original image size.

The two features that have been voted the most in the poll (zoom effect and rotating transition effects), will not be implemented for now, because on more than 11.000 downloads only 3 donations have been made, and I've used that money on hosting and some other expenses. So if you really want those features, consider donating.
