I’ve released version 1.1 of the Embed Script WordPress plugin.
Version 1.0 gave you the possibility to add scripts to the end of the ‘content’ of any single page/post. The new version gives you the possibility to add scripts to the beginning of the ‘content’ as well.
This means that the Embed Scipt WordPress plugin has become not only the perfect solution for your adding your Google Adwords to your WordPress site, but also for adding your Google Site Optimizer codes and split test your landing pages!
You can read more about and download the Embed Script WordPress plugin here.

Today I release a new, free product: a WordPress plugin that makes it extremely easy to add code to any single page or post. It’s called Creative Clans Embed Script.
I made it because someone asked for something like this on a great forum I’m a member of. This person wanted to add Adwords conversion tracking code to a page. Something that sounds very easy, but really isn’t. Not in WordPress. But with this plugin it’s a piece of cake!
Once installed, you’ll see a new box on the right side of the page/post edit panel, called ‘Creative Clans Embed Script’ (what a surprise) containing a text area where you can add any script you want to add to the page.
Attention! The script will be added at the end of the page/post content you write in the editor on the left. Since you can’t decide where the code will appear, you shouldn’t use it for things that must appear on screen (unless you want it to appear at the end of the post/page text. But for ‘invisible’ things like tracking code it’s perfect.
Just go to the Downloads page if you want to download it.
It’s not yet available in the wordpress plugin repository. As soon as it is, I’ll let you know.

The new do-it-yourself version of the slide show has been released as well. Better slide loading management, and thus less bandwidth consumed.
There should be no problems with this upgrade, but if there are, let me know.

This new version of the free flash slideshow wordpress widget is again the result of the feedback of one of you. So don’t hesitate and post your praise, questions, comments and critics. It all helps to make a better product!
So, what’s new? Version 1.3.2 fixes a bug concerning the transparent background. In the widget’s HTML code, the object wmode parameter was set as ‘opaque’, resulting in a white background, even if the background transparency of the slideshow was set to 0 (transparent).
In the new version, wmode is set to ‘transparent’, which means that all objects laying underneath the flash object (like the site’s background color) will shine through the transparent parts of the slide show. So now, if you specify the background transparency as 0, it’ll work as it should.
Attention: the wmode was set to ‘opaque’ for a reason: it prevented the flash object from being shown on top of everything, thus obscuring drop down menus (this is a flash behaviour, not something specific for the slideshow). I think ‘transparent’ will work just fine, but I haven’t had the possibility to test it. If you notice a problem, please let me know. In that case, I’ll have to add a new setting to let you choose between wmode ‘opaque’ and ‘transparent’.

This new version of the free flash slideshow wordpress widget is again the result of the feedback of one of you. So don’t hesitate and post your praise, questions, comments and critics. It all helps to make a better product!
So, what’s new? Version 1.3.1 fixes a bug concerning the widget title. Version 1.3 always displayed the title, even if none had been set. In some WordPress templates, this caused an empty coloured box to appear above the slideshow (in other templates it might have other effects). In version 1.3.1, the title (and all related graphical effects) is displayed only when you set one.

Version 1.2.2 has no new functionality, so for more information about its use and the license I’ll just point you to the previous version.
